SnapDolphin

Terms of Service

Version 1.1 · Effective June 11, 2026 · Last updated June 11, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SnapDolphin. By checking the acceptance box at sign-up, or by creating an account or using SnapDolphin, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to use SnapDolphin and to create an account.

2. What SnapDolphin is

SnapDolphin helps you discover venues and events in New Jersey — with vibe scores, live Snap-Check status, Night Owl mode, the Pulse Map, and community reviews. It is an information and discovery service. We do not own, operate, or control the venues or events listed, and we are not a ticket seller or an agent of any venue or promoter.

3. Venue and event information is provided "as is"

Hours, prices, busyness signals, vibe scores, event dates, and similar details come from public sources, partners, and the community, and they change in the real world faster than any app can track. Always confirm directly with the venue or event organizer before making plans that matter to you. We do not warrant that any listing is accurate, complete, current, or reliable, and "open now," distance, and similar signals are estimates, not guarantees. A sponsored or featured label is a paid placement and is not an endorsement of accuracy.

4. Your account

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and don't share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; deletion requests are completed within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your content and reviews

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false, fake, or incentivized reviews or otherwise manipulate ratings; check in at places you are not actually visiting; harass, threaten, or defame others; post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content; impersonate anyone; scrape, bulk-extract, or harvest data; probe, overload, or disrupt the service; or use SnapDolphin to send spam.

7. Copyright and the DMCA

We respect intellectual-property rights and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe content on SnapDolphin infringes your copyright, send a notice with the elements required by § 512(c)(3) to our designated agent:

We provide a counter-notice procedure under § 512(g), and we have adopted and will reasonably implement a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

9. Limitation of liability

10. Notice to New Jersey residents

11. Sponsored content

Some placements are paid and are clearly labeled (for example, SPONSORED, FEATURED, or PREMIUM). Paid placement never alters a venue's underlying community ratings or reviews.

12. Disputes

If a dispute arises, please first contact us at support@snapdolphin.com and give us 30 days to resolve it informally — most issues can be settled that way. If it isn't resolved, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and you and SnapDolphin agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey — except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. We do not require binding arbitration.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will give notice by email and an in-app notice at least 15 days before it takes effect, show the new effective date, and — where required — ask you to accept the new version before continuing. Non-material updates take effect when posted. We keep prior versions available on request, and continued use after a change takes effect means you accept it.

14. Termination and survival

You may stop using SnapDolphin and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access for violations of these Terms. Sections 5 (the license you granted, as needed to operate existing content), 7, 8, 9, 10, and 12, and any other terms that by their nature should survive, will survive termination.

15. General

If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in effect (read together with Section 10 for New Jersey residents). Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and SnapDolphin about the service.
